چکیده

A Q-switched all-fiber Er-doped laser operated at a wavelength up to 1625 nm is proposed and demonstrated. self-developed, element hybridization (Al, Ge, La, P, Er in the core, Si P cladding region) glass fiber with gain extended U-band employed as medium. The compact cavity contains Bragg grating which was manufactured by means of point-by-point femtosecond inscription technique. Stable pulse train successfully achieved using semiconductor saturable absorber mirror low pump threshold 29 mW. has maximum single energy 746 nJ minimum duration 26.8 μs. repetition rate can be gradually tuned from 6.47 11.87 kHz increasing power. In particular, long nm. This is, best our knowledge, longest for lasers this waveband.

Treatment of lentigines by a novel high power diode laser at 755 nm: a case report

The use of high-power diode laser with a wavelength of 755 nm is an effective and safe method for the correction and partial and/or total elimination of pigmented lesions, specifically solar lentigines. This wavelength has yet not been used in diode lasers to treat solar lentigines. Side effects are the usual ones, including darkening and scab formation. Our patient was a 40-year-old woman of C...

analysis of laser-fat interaction through comparing 980 nm diode laser with 1064 nm nd:yag laser

results the simulation results showed that the penetration depth and temperature rise of 980 nm wavelengths were different from those of 1064 nm wavelength. it appeared that 1064 nm wavelength penetrated to deeper layers of tissue compared with 980 nm. moreover, temperature rise during 1064 nm irradiation led to temperature increase in allowable ranges. the findings proved the reason why 1064 n...

Adjunctive Low-level Laser Therapy Using 980-nm Diode Laser after Impacted Mandibular Third Molar Surgery: A Randomized Clinical Trial

Background and Objective: Extraction of impacted lower third molars is one of the most frequent surgeries of the oral cavity. This operation might be accompanied by inevitable complications, such as pain, swelling, and trismus after surgery. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of low-intensity/power laser therapy on swelling and trismus after impacted mandibular third mo...

Histologic evaluation of laser lipolysis: pulsed 1064-nm Nd:YAG laser versus cw 980-nm diode laser.

BACKGROUND The use of the laser as an auxiliary tool has refined the traditional technique for lipoplasty. During laser lipolysis, the interaction between the laser and the fat produced direct cellular destruction before the suction, reduced bleeding, and promoted skin tightening. OBJECTIVE This study sought to perform a comparative histologic evaluation of laser lipolysis with the pulsed 106...

Comparison of 585 nm with 595 nm pulsed dye laser in the treatment of warts

Background and aim : The clinical management of verrucae vulgaris is often challenging and no treatment is always effective. Early studies have suggested that pulsed-dye laser (PDL) may be highly effective in the treatment of verrucae through obliteration of dilated vessels in papillary dermis. The objective of this study was to compare safety and efficacy of 585 nm with 595 nm PDL in the...
